Stone Carving Workshop
 

Drawing & Sculpting the Figure

Dates: January 12- February 16, 2011, Wednesday nights (6 evening sessions) @ Artspace, Raleigh, NC

Cost: $150/ $135 Artspace Members
In this workshop students will learn to identify anatomical reference points used to structure and proportion an accurate figure drawing. Students will also use these reference points to render muscle and weight shifts during the posing of live models. The same concepts will then be applied to create three-dimensional clay figurative sculptures. *Models will wear bathing suits.
